The Shopland family have been using and selling wood for over 250 years, starting in Exeter, Newton St Cyres, Cullompton and Clevedon. Activities range from sawing imported foreign logs to supplying firewood. Shopland's manufacture pallets and fencing, sell plywood, softwoods and hardwoods to the building, DIY trades and the general public. Shopland's have one of the last public sawmills cutting up the customers own timber to their requirements.
Shopland's is different to modern timber merchants because we stock imported timbers alongside home grown timbers. The home grown trees come from managed local woodland within the South West of England, such as Longleat Estate and Tyntesfield, carrying on a tradition of sustainable foresty that goes back for generations.
Since 1750, Shopland's have been serving their customers with old fashioned courtesy and attention to detail, providing the very best quality goods at an affordable price. An example of this courtesy is that Shopland's provides a delivery service with all orders.
The Shopland family have a passionate interest in the restoration of historic vehicles. If you would like to read more about the Shopland Collection please see the website.
